Hasbro has revealed some more pictures of the San Diego Comic Con exclusive 6" Black series Boba Fett with Han in Carbonite. This figure will retail for $44.99 during the convention and be available in limited quantities at HasbroToyShop.com. This set will be the first in the Black Series 6" figure collection and looks to be a great addition to any collection.

Today we have added the first medallion/challenge coin that the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society had issued for Operation Ward 57 in 2009. This medallion featured Obi-Wan Kenobi in Clone Trooper armor. It was the 1st in the series that also included Chewbacca, Princess Leia,  and Yoda all of which will be added soon. These coins were all issued for specific charities and make for a great addition to any collection especially knowing that the proceeds went to a cause make them even better. Make sure to check out Obi-wan as well as the others once they are made available.

Today we add to the Funko gallery the Blox Stormtrooper bobble head. This is an oversized bobble head and was #25 in the series. Other Star Wars characters included Darth Vader and Boba Fett which are both already in our Funko galleries. 



Star Wars Day at the Hangar

On May 4, 2013 the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver, CO held its annual Star Wars Day event. This event was also held on the Star Wars fan holiday of May the 4th be with you, which made it extra special for those that attended. The Colorado fan groups of the X-wing prjoect, Mountain Garrison of the 501st, Mountain Base of the Rebel Legion, and the Rocky Mountain Fan Force were in attendance to make this a great event. Lucasfilm announced on Friday that production of the recently announced Star Wars: Episode VII will indeed take place in the United Kingdom. As most fans of the Saga know, all six previous films have had some production take place in the UK in such fabled studios such as Elstree, Shepperton and Leavesden to name a few.

Star Wars: Episode VII is currently schedule for a May 2015 release.
