Spoiler Feee Thoughts on Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Just got home from seeing The Force Awakens. Not sure how I got home considering when I climbed into my car I was still trembling from the movie. Don’t even remember much of the 3 mile drive. Felt like it took about 30 seconds to get home.
I’m thankful (to a degree) that I don’t have to work tomorrow because I’ll need all night to process what I saw. I went through 3 tissues during the last half hour of the movie.
In short, this WAS the sequel to Return of the Jedi in EVERY way a movie titled Star Wars could be. Every emotion was there. Humor, Friendship, Fear, Anger, Sorrow. All of it. I’m glad it came out now, instead of 10 or 20 years ago because I don’t think I was in the right place at those ages to appreciate what I experienced tonight.
I can’t imagine having to wait another 18 months for Episode VIII but if was able to wait 32 years for this, then a year and a half should fly by at light speed,
See the movie. Enjoy it. J.J. Abrams and Disney did the franchise proud. -M-
