Jon Favreau Reveals Details About Live-Action Series
Last Night at the World Premiere for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Jon Favreau, who voiced Rio, of the CGI-characters that appear in the latest Star Wars movie, released the first details on his upcoming Live-Action television series.
While walking the red carpet, Favreau was asked for an update on the recently-announced television series. He mentioned that about half of the episodes have been written, and also mentioned the time frame in which the series would take place.
The still unnamed series will take place before ‘The Force Awakens’ and about seven years after the Battle of Yavin at the end of ‘A New Hope’. This will be the first live action Star Wars production that will attempt to fill in the 30-year gap between episodes VI and VII.
Favreau also mentioned that the series will feature new characters, but that does not rule out cameos by well-known charcters from previous live-action movies or even the recently ended ‘Star Wars Rebels’ animated series.
