Rhode Island Comic Con right around the corner
During the weekend of November 5th – 7th The Dunkin Donuts Center and Rhode Island Convention in Providence Rhode Island will be home once again to the Rhode Island Comic Con aka RICC.
Fans attending will be able to see guests from many different genres such as Star Wars, Clerks (Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, etc), Cobra Kai, wrestlers, Star Trek (William Shanter), The Warriors, Leave it to Beaver, Power Rangers, The Boys, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead and many more. Star Wars guests:
Ashley Eckstein – Her Universe Clone Wars. – Ahsoka -appearing all three days.
Carl Weathers – Rocky, Predator, The Mandalorian – Greef Karga – appearing all three days
Chris Bartlett – The Mandalorian – many characters in the show Kubaz ferryman, Q9-0 (body double), RA-7 protool droid bartender, bounty hunter droid, and protocol droid teacher – appearing all three days
Emily Swallow – The Mandalorian – the Armorer – appearing all three days
Giancarlo Esposito – The Mandalorian – Moff Gideon – appearing Friday and Saturday
Lauren Mary Kim – The Mandalorian – stunt double for Omera, The Armorer, Fennec Shand, Morgan Elsbeth, and Koska Reeves – appearing Saturday and Sunday

There will be a Star Wars panel featuring the actors from the Disney Plus The Mandalorian series. The panel is on Saturday at 5:15 pm in the Narragansett Ballroom – Omni Hotel

Fans will be able to interact with various cosplay groups such as the 501st New England Garrison (NEG), The Finest (G.I. Joe), Klingon Assault Group, etc. There will be numerous cosplay guests as well. Check out the Cosplay page for more details.
On Friday Kevin Smith will have a panel starting at 8:00 pm in the Narragansett Ballroom – Omni Hotel. To attend this panel fans will need to purchase a separate ticket for $24.99. Make sure to check out the page for Kevin.
On Saturday there will be a 90th Birthday Celebration panel with William Shatner. Panel starts at 11:00 am in the Narragansett Ballroom – Omni Hotel.
There will be many artists and vendors attending so fans will have plenty to see.
Mooby’s from Clerks will have a pop-up restaurant that will be opened at the Trinity Beer Garden all three days.
Masks will be required for fans to attend.
This year’s event looks to be a good one. There are lots of great guests, artists, and cosplayers/cosplay groups. It will be nice to be able to attend a convention in person again after the cancelation last year due to the pandemic.
