Rogue One Re-Release Propels Film into Top 10 IMAX Releases
This past weekend, Rogue One was re-released in 250 US-based IMAX theaters to help promote the upcoming Disney+ series ‘Andor’.
The film grossed an additional $1 million in ticket sales over the weekend, pushing its lifetime IMAX haul to $105 million ranking it among the 10 highest-grossing films released in that format.
The re-release contained a 10-minute preview of the Rogue One Prequel series which premieres with three episodes on September 21st.
