Mimoco has announced their latest series of MIMOBOT flash drives their 8th series. The theme for the 8th series is Return of the Jedi and there will be a Slave Leia, Biker Scout, Jabba The Hunt, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, and Admiral Ackbar. The Biker Scout will be a co-exclusive to this year's San Diego Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration VI.

"Today we are delighted to reveal the first 10 limited edition artwork prints that will be available exclusively at Star Wars Celebration VI this August! As mentioned in our original announcement, 35 different artist have been selected to offer these exclusive prints at Celebration VI which we will be revealing in the upcoming weeks.

In addition, Acme Archives will be offering pre-orders of the Celebration VI artwork prints for the very first time. All pre-order prints must be picked up in person at Celebration and will not be shipped. Artists who have their own booths outside of the Acme booth will also be offering pre-orders through their own websites, under the same terms. Pre-orders will begin after Comic Con.

This year at Star Wars Celebration 6 Frank Diorio's Diorama Workshop will be presenting a Tatooine themed workshop called Return to Tatooine. Full details have not been released by Lucasfilms but this will be a massive project that will be exciting to see unfold. 

Kenny Baker, Amy Allen, Bonnie Piesse and Jake Lloyd are among the most recent Star Wars alum to be added to the roster of the upcoming Star Wars Celebration VI convention to be held in Orlando this coming August.

The additions to the celebrity guest list have been coming fast and furious, and with only 2-1/2 months until the convention kicks off the list of invitees will only continue to grow! Robot Chicken's Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are heading to Star Wars Celebration VI

The twisted masterminds behind Robot Chicken – Seth Green and Matthew Senreich – will be attending Star Wars Celebration VI this August 23-26, 2012, in Orlando, Florida as special guests. Star Wars fans from the very beginning, Seth and Matt have been honored guests of past Celebrations since their hilarious Robot Chicken show moved beyond just the occasional Star Wars sketch to full-fledged specials showcasing the hilarious side of a galaxy far, far away. Three Robot Chicken: Star Wars specials later, they're still mining the saga for comedy gold, including working as consultants for the team developing a new animated Star Wars series at Lucasfilm Animation.

Yup, you read that right.

Today the official Celebration VI website announced that Ian McDiarmid, the actor who famously portrayed Senator/Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine in four of the six Star Wars movies will be in attendance at the convention which takes place in Orlando Florida beginning on August 23rd.

This will be Mr. McDiarmid's first time signing autographs in the United States.

The folks over at Reed Pop have announced the first of what promises to be many exclusives for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration VI convention in August. Made in partnership with Sideshow Collectibles, the 12" figure of Clone Commander Ganch will be available in very limited numbers beginning the first day of the show, Thursday, August 23rd.
