Hasbro New Star Wars Black Series – USAtoday

According to an article on usatoday.com Hasbro is announcing a new Star Wars 6″ line called the Black Series. These figures will have the price point of $19.99 and should be available in mid-August per the article. The initial wave of 4 will include Luke Skywalker in X-wing Pilot outfit, R2-D2, Darth Maul, and an Imperial Sandtrooper. It seems like they want these to be a transition point between the basic figures and the Sideshow 12″ figures. These also appear to be geared toward the kids at heart adults.
