Lego Unveils a New Sandcrawler Building Set

This past weekend Lego unveiled their newest entry into their Star Wars line of building sets. The 3,296 piece Sandcrawler will hit store shelves this May with a retail price of $300 (US). The gigantic set features 13 minifigures including Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, Uncle Owen, four (4) Jawas and several other droids. Once built, the Sandcrawler will stand 9-inches tall, 6-inches wide and 18-inches long and include such play features as working cranes, a ramp, cockpit and even the giant “vacuum” that sucked R2-D2 into the belly of the vehicle in the movie.
