Obi-Wan Kenobi Stand Alone Film in the Works?

Over the weekend, the team at MakingStarWars.net dropped a rumor that supposedly a stand-alone film focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi is now in the (very) early stages of development. No specific names have been attached to the project yet, but back when Disney first bought  Lucasfilm and aannounced that there would be a series of stand-alone Star Wars films, Ewan McGregor voiced his sincere interest in reprising his role as a post Clone Wars/pre A New Hope version of the Jedi Master.
