World Blood Drive
Today June 8th there are numerous Blood Drive events around the world. These events are part of the World Blood Drive that has become an annual event. This event is in it’s sixth year and has grown to numerous countries. It combines Star Wars and donating blood to help save lives. Events are hosted by various members from the Star Wars costuming groups.
Here in New England the event will be held at the West Warwick Public Library in West Warwick, RI from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will feature members of the local Star Wars costuming groups. There will be free t-shirts and posters for all participating donors.
