Max Von Sydow Passes Away
Legendary actor Max von Sydow has passed away at the age of 90.
Von Sydow, who has appeared in over 100 movie and television productions, will be remembered by Star Wars fans for his role in the 2015 film ´The Force Awakens´ where he played the character Lor San Tekka, a long-time ally of the Resistance who provides Poe Dameron with a clue to the location of Luke Skywalker.
In addition to ´The Force Awakens´ some of the more memorable films of von Sydowś career include: The Seventh Seal (1957), The Exorcist (1973), Flash Gordon (1980), Strange Brew (1983), Dune (1984), and Shutter Island (2010).
Von Sydow also appeared in two iconic television series, voicing a character in a 2014 episode of The Simpsons and appearing in three episodes of Game of Thrones in 2016.
