First tier for the HasLab Rancor is revealed
During the latest Star Wars Fans First Friday the Star Wars team at Hasbro showed fans a prototype of the HasLab Black Series Rancor.
We got to see many images of what the Rancor will look like and the features. The also announced the first unlockable tier. The first tier will be unlocked with 11,000 backers and will be a Gamorrean Guard. This version of the Gamorrean Guard will come on a Kenner-inspired Power of the Force card back and will include a coin similar to what was done back in the day. The guard will come with two axes and a staff.
Fans will be able re-enact the Rancor eating the Gamorrean Guard from Return of the Jedi.
The Rancor currently has 4,546 backers. The campaign will end on 12/7 and will need 9,000 backers to get produced. Check out the campaign page for more details.

The Black Series Gamorrean Guard figure on a classic Kenner-inspired Power of the Force cardback with a special collectors coin to continue the tradition of celebrating the Kenner brand. This figure will be exclusive to backers of the HasLab Rancor and let collectors recreate the iconic scene in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, when the Gamorrean Guard unwittingly becomes the Rancor’s “lunch.”
