Tamagotchi gets Star Wars treatment
Bandai has brought the Star Wars universe to their Tamagotchi line. A R2-D2 themed version of this popular item from back in the mid 90’s has been released.
This version of Tamagotchi will have you training and taking care of R2-D2 to master various skills. You will need to keep him fully charged and clean, which can be accomplished by playing two mini-games Firefighting and Dejarik (holochess). There are 19 skills to train R2 and there are seven mini-games to unlock. Make sure you don’t neglect your R2 if you do he may get taken away by those pesky Jawas.
There are two versions available a Hologram (translucent blue) and classic (white). They both retail for $19.99 and available at Entertainment Earth, amazon, BigBadToyStore, and Gamestop.
This unit requires two LR44 batteries (included). No Wi-fi is needed.
