McQuarrie Concept Art figures coming to the Black Series 6″ line
Star Wars Celebration Anaheim is in full swing this weekend. Fans from across the world have gathered at Anaheim Convention Center for this great event.
On Friday the Star Wars team for Hasbro had a panel and revealed many new items coming to their various lines such as Black Series, The Vintage, The Bounty Collection, etc.
The next reveal we are going to look at is from the Black Series line and it it a Concept Art Edition of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader. The figures in this set is based off the Concept Art of Ralph McQuarrie. Obi-Wan comes with a light saber and Darth Vader comes with a light saber and soft goods.
This two pack will retail for $55.99 and be available in the Spring of 2023. This set will be on pre-order on 6/1 at 1 PM EST at ShopDisney.com.
I have definitely been looking forward to Hasbro making Black Series Concept figures for a while. I have asked them a few times in Q&As if they would ever consider making them and was told not at the time, can’t comment on future releases, or if they were voted in as a Fan Vote. I definitely like the 3.75″ Concept figures done previously, but since I have switched to 6″ line I have been waiting to see them in that format.
