New Zealand Mint releases new line of coins for Star Wars license
Our friends at the New Zealand Mint have launched a new line featuring the Star Wars license. This new line is Trading Coins. These coins will be of the mystery variety. Each box will come with 2 coins. These boxes will retail for $299 a box.
Breakdown of the Mintage levels:
Limited Mintage – 250 featuring characters from the Original trilogy.
Uncommon Mintage – 150 featuring characters from the Prequel trilogy.
Scarce Mintage – 50 featuring characters from The Sequel trilogy.
Rare Mintage – 20 featuring characters from Disney+ series and stand alone movie (Mandalorian, Obi-wan, Book of Fett, and Rogue One)
Ultra-rare Mintage- 20 featuring movie posters from the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy, and stand alone.
Mythic Mintage – 10 featuring Star Wars logo with Darth Vader helmet.

Each coin is completed with a mirror-finish frame and unique frosted details specific to each set, along with its individual number. Turn to the obverse to find the Public Seal of Niue, confirming the coin’s legal tender.
